On November 14, at the Bella Fiore Italian restaurant in Norwich, the Federation had a successful fundraiser for emergency relief efforts for Israel. We raised approximately $7,500.   

The fundraiser was the idea of Bella Fiore’s owner, Harvey Balidemaj. He contacted Federation representatives saying that he wanted to do something to help. Indeed, he did. Harvey provided the facility, the personnel and a buffet at no charge. Patrons donated a recommended $50 per person, one hundred percent of which went to the Israel Emergency Fund. Harvey was magnificent in his generosity.
