PJ Library® is designed to bring Jewish youth together in age-appropriate groups to build on existing friendships, to create new and enduring friendships in relaxed social settings either in-person or via zoom where being Jewish is celebrated in a variety of inviting ways.
PJ Library® provides a free gift of a high-quality, age-appropriate Jewish book or CD mailed to the home every month.
We know that something magical happens when parents sit down together to read with their children, and when families can gather together to learn and celebrate together. PJ Library gives the gift of Jewish stories and engagement programs that help families talk together about the Jewish values and traditions that are important to them.
The Jewish Federation of Eastern Connecticut, in partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, supports young families in our community as they enjoy these opportunities to make memories that are meaningfully, uniquely Jewish. Sign up for PJ Library Now.
The Jewish Federation of Eastern Connecticut is proud to present PJ Library in New London County and surrounding areas for families with children ages 6 months to 8 years.

Monday Lunch Club
The Lunch program connects seniors in the community and gives much more than just a hot lunch. Friendship, education and sharing life experiences are just a few of the benefits our participants have. And of course, great hot lunches that change weekly. Though sponsored by The Jewish Federation, not all we do is Jewish, and All are always welcome. Educational and fun programs, knowledgeable speakers, music, and activities are a regular part of the weekly lunches. A suggested $3 donation to support TVCCA is collected at the door.
Case Management
One of the primary responsibilities of our case manager is conducting assessments to identify the specific needs of clients. This process helps determine the type of support required, such as accessing food and social services benefits, helping with resumes, job and housing searches, etc. Our case manager plays a critical role in connecting clients with clinical resources such as medical care, social services, and behavioral health supports, as well as providing community resources, such as food banks. Communication with service providers is essential for scheduling appointments, completing health assessment forms, and providing translation for clients and care givers. We act swiftly to ensure clients receive timely support.
If you need to connect with our case manager, please call 860-333-8193 or email [email protected]
