What To Do in December: A Live Q&A for Grandparents Balancing Hanukkah and Christmas

Hanukkah and Christmas can be a joyful time, but let’s be honest: it can also be incredibly challenging for grandparents with grandchildren in interfaith families. Join moderator Linda Silberman, board member of 18Doors, and panelists Rabbis Robyn Frisch and Malka Packer-Monroe from 18Doors, who will answer the questions they hear the most from grandparents around the December holidays.

You’ll get equipped with tools for how to make Hanukkah meaningful for you and your grandkids (whether you live near or far) without offending your child and their partner; how to communicate during this touchy time; whether it’s “OK” to join them in celebrating Christmas, and much more. The program will include time for participants to ask their own questions as well.

A recording of the moderated Q&A will be available after the event, but the participant Q&A that follows will not be shared so as to cultivate a safe space.
