Shalom! Welcome to Temple Bnai Israel in Willimantic. We are a welcoming Reconstructionist Jewish community that works for tikkun nefesh (healing for the soul) and tikkun olam (healing for the world). We offer an innovative Religious School and youth Shabbat experience, as well as opportunities for adult learning and worship.  Our Shabbat services are Friday nights at 7:30 and Saturday mornings at 10:00, except the first Saturday of the month when we meet for a "Bagel and Bible" study session at 9:30, followed by abbreviated services at 10:30.  All are welcome: Jews as well as fellow travelers, straight as well as LGBT, single or married, young or old.
